The Children's Home Ministry
Since 1961, we have welcomed foster children and children's home orphanages for free, life-changing beach vacations. Every summer, we host 12 to 15 different homes in our custom dorms. We treat every child to local attractions, beach excursions, and daily ice cream from our Sea Shack, giving them precious coastal memories that last a lifetime.
The Historic "Children's Home Box"
Every dormitory kitchen on campus features a "Children's Home Box." Church groups on retreat are challenged to drop spare change and bills in. Every dollar collected goes directly to fund these foster beach trips.
Youth Camps & Church Retreats
We provide a premium, relationally focused retreat space for church youth groups. Combining powerful camp experiences with the relaxing coastal setting of Murrells Inlet, you can run your own schedule or tap into our pre-planned guides. Our simplified campus layout keeps your group together, maximizing quality face-to-face connection.
Join the Summer Staff Team
Are you looking for a summer job with real spiritual significance? We are seeking dedicated Christian college students and high school seniors to serve as summer missionaries on our coast. Our staff maintain the campus, run the snack bar, and lead recreation while growing together in a tight-knit discipleship community.
Join Us for Worship by the Sea
Join us for Sunday worship at Garden City Chapel from the first Sunday of May through Labor Day. Our interdenominational services feature Bible teaching and an uplifting blend of hymns and contemporary praise. Locals, vacationers, and weekend retreat groups are all warmly welcome. Come as you are in casual dress!

Every year, underprivileged kids, foster children, and children's homes stay at our facility 100% free of charge. Your direct financial support allows us to pay for their meals, buy their t-shirts, cover their admission to local SC attractions, and give them a joyful week on the ocean they will never forget.
